Boys will be boys

This past weekend we were able to hike down to one of the most beautiful beaches on Guam. Haputo is one of my favorite spots. You are probably thinking how in the world did I carry two kids down there. Well, I am super mom. Just kidding. One of Andrew's really good college friend is stationed out here. So Vince carried Elizabeth and I carried Sean. Some good friends from the squadron also came with us.

So we got down to the beach. The kids were loving it. Elizabeth kept playing in the sand and then running down to the water to wash the sand off. She does not like being dirty. On the other hand there was Sean. He was a sand monster, crawling everywhere. So I kind of let him do his thing. I did notice that there was quite a few hermit crabs on the beach. Common in Guam, I didn't think much of it because I figured they would be scared of Sean. Well I turn to make sure Sean wasn't getting into any trouble... Well when I looked at him he had some weird little claws coming out of his mouth. I examine the situation a little more. The kid had picked up a hermit crab and was trying to eat it. I wish I had taken a picture of it because it was hilarious. But at the time I was too grossed out that I just wanted to free the poor crab from the mouth of my 11 month old.
