Three Weeks!

Elizabeth was hot so we helped her into some diapers and called it good. Its ninety-three over here in Coronado, and without A/C it feels great (sarcasm). I think Elizabeth prefers the cooler weather. So with the hot weather rolling in, We got another fan, so we are officially in the three fan tax bracket now. Probably one night late according to Kate and her mom.

But Elizabeth is growing healthily and sleeping up to four hours at a time at night, which Kate is super excited about. She still has all that baby hair, but it may just be changing to a lighter color. And her eyes are definitely deciding their color between a rich blue and blue with a dash of green.

This is from earlier, but she was so tired and loved sleeping in her little pink gown. (She also likes her blankie from Aunt Amy)

This is Kate and I before we went and tackled the brunch at the Hotel Del Coronado. The menu there looked something like this MENU. The food was fantastic, service excellent, and mimosas exquisite. Kate and I both polished off five plates of food including dessert (if that is allowable for a brunch starting with eggs). I could tell you everything I ate. But lets just say with those five plates, I only scratched the surface of their menu and was amazed at every piece and the care taken in each item. Our picture afterwards would have been of the both of us, exhausted and full, napping on our bed (two and a half hours after we left for the brunch).
